## Why a new name

Dropfans got us here. Now we want a brand that holds its own next to the biggest sites in our sector, and 2Fans does that better. It's short, it's easy to say out loud, and it puts the people this is all for right in the name.

## When it happens

The switch rolls out over the coming weeks. You'll see the new name and logo appear across the site, the dashboard, our emails and creator profile pages.

You can already type **2fans.io** into your browser today. It brings you here. Once the switch is done, 2fans.io is our main address and every domain we run forwards to it.

- **Your links.** Every dropfans.io link you've shared keeps working and forwards to the same page on 2fans.io. No need to touch your bio today.
- **Your fans and content.** Subscribers, drops and your vault stay exactly where they are.
- **Your setup.** API keys, connected apps, our Telegram bot and anything you've signed with us all stay valid. It's the same company behind them.

When 2fans.io is live, update the link in your bio whenever it suits you. Old links keep forwarding either way.
